CornFlower by Panther-Nora CornFlower by Panther-Nora
Your average field corn wont be flowering around here for another month or so, but my Painted corn is already there! Field corn will have pale yelowish male flowers, and one of my corn plants does... but not this one!
I have been neglecting my garden something terrible this summer, and this week particulary, but my plants are tough.
and beautiful.

Yeah,
too bad the green weedy-grassy stuff is infesting what's supposed to be my garden!
I cant stand concrete. It makes me sad.

It's usualy about 10 feet off the ground by the time it flowers, but this is a quick-maturing variety of corn so it's about 4 feet tall and the flower is easily visible.
