My life is a sunshower,

Laugh for 30 minutes, cry for the next half hour,
Smiling and happily chatting, to sad stares and silent shouts,
Hearing the rain hit my rooftop,
While smiling and tears in my eyes,
Laughing at this absurdity, knowing I should stop,
But I can’t; it’s so unreasonable, laughing and crying at the same time,
Feeling sick on the inside, but putting on a front for the out,
Getting older and looking so, but wanting to stay young forever,
Knowing I should stay silent for a while, yet still whine and pout,
It’s raining but the sun still shines; whatever this is,
I can’t fathom it; I just need the rain to cease,
I just want this rain to stop and let the sun simply shower my cranium,
All I want is the sunshine, no rain with this faint light teasing me;
I’m afraid that my pleas will fall on deaf ears,
And my smile will fool and tease those with blind eyes that can’t s

I was the stone,
I felt nothing I moved not.
My heart was hardened in my chest
And when I slept I took no rest.
I existed,
My heart was cold and moved not.
And when I saw other’s pain
I laughed until I died again.
I felt nothing.

So long ago I only remember
Those days have passed and gone.
Now when I see the pain in others
I almost can’t help but cry along.

It hurts so bad
To see you falling to the ground
I am powerless to help you
You struggle on in hope to get through.
Please don’t give up.
My unfamiliar emotions warring
I don’t understand all this
It almost makes me wish
That I was stone.
